Was ex 43-16008 that had gone to civil registry as NC15836 and later N15836 that was reacquired by USAF in 1949. Registration N15836 cancelled Jul 29, 1949. To Royal Hellenic Air Force asn 96222, renamed Hellenic AF from 1973. Still flying with Hellenic AF bearing serial 49-2622. Has been under IRAN at Hellenic Aircraft Industries from Oct 31, 2004. Expected to be returned to Hellenic AF Jun 2005 with about 3 more years of operational use. May still be active. (Courtesy Joe Baugher)
