| This C-135E Stratolifter was operated by Detachment 2 of the 452nd Flight Test Squadron at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico before being flown into storage at Davis-Monthan AFB on April 18, 2001. The aircraft had been used by the Air Force Research Laboratory as an active remote sensing platform to investigate rocket plume phenomena, re-entry signatures, kill assessments and sensor developments under the Argus programme. The badge worn by the aircraft bore the legend “Caught You In The Act”. | |
