| My Father and 10 other crew members lost their lives on this plane according to military and pentagon official documents. The plane was recovered in 1992 in Nth. Viet Nam. The excavation revealed bones and teeth fragments from the wreckage that were sent to forensics in Hawaii. Eight members were identified according to military documents, Three members including my Father CMS Jack McCrary are still missing or considered KIA, with a possibility of still being held captive and left behind like many other military personnel. A 1979 article from the Defense Intelligence Agency claims my Father was LKA thru radio contact after the plane was declared officially missing in action. This plane flew out of Nha Trang AB with the 314th TAW It crashed Dec. 29th, 1967.
