| When I was a 10 year old my father (Squadron Leader Kenneth Sharpe) used to take me up in G-AJAJ from Sandown airport on the Isle of Wight. She was bright yellow in those days. The flying club was run my Mary Wilkins, an ex-ferry pilot. I seem to remember it had a sideways facing third seat in the back, which did little to improve my queasiness during tight turns and stalls. I'd love a photo of her in the yellow livery. | |
