Initially registered as G-AKLP November 1947. First flown August 22, 1949 as VP-TBA of British West Indian Airlines (BWIA), RMA St Vincent. Returned to UK September 1950 and probably flown as G-14-4, becoming G-AKLP again with Shorts and named Festival of Britain and used for a demonstration tour of the USA. Sold to Shell Petroleum of Brunei as VR-SDV in May 1959. Fate unknown |
