I flew in this aircraft twice. Firstly on 18th December 1960 to Lagos Nigeria from London Heathrow via Barcelona and Kano. The total flying time was 11 hours 55 minutes according to my Junior Jet Club Log Book. The pilots name is unclear but a guess could be L J Willis. The second flight was on 8th January 1961 from Lagos to London via Kano and Rome. That flight time was 12 hours 50 minutes (both times exclude refueling time). I cannoot read the pilot's name. I was going to and fro to see my parents. I was boarded in the UK and my father was in the army and accompanied by my mother and younger sister.. |
