Built as C-54E Skymaster 44-9085 (MSN 27311/DO257), to RFC in 1945. Bought by Douglas Aircraft Co Sep 26, 1945 as N88886. To Pan American World Airways Nov 14, 1945 and named *Clipper Mandarin*, later *Clipper Frankfurt*, then *Clipper Pegasus*, followed by *Clipper Hanover*. To Trans Mediterranean Airways Jan 12, 1961 as OD-ADW. Boutht Nov 1, 1963 by Aviation Traders Ltd and converted it to an ATL-98 Carvair serial number 15 and registered as G-ATRV for British United Air Ferries in Mar 1966. Sold May 1967 to Compagnie Air Transports as F-BOSU and leased to Shell Nigeria and named *President Gamel*. Returned to Compagnie Air Transports Aug 1970. WFU and stored Nimes, France.
