| A little more information about the pic I have submitted of this aircraft. I came across it at the 100th birthday of the father of a friend of mine. It was among a collection of old pics of his early life and was taken on the occasion when he and his future wife took their first flight in G-EBSE from a piece of heathland at Ipswich in Suffolk. This was in 1924 I believe. Having an interest in aviation I copied it and when I recently came across this site and saw the aircraft mentioned I sent it along. Hope it will be of interest. | |
