| This a/c was owned by the Stick and Rudder club of Waukegan, Illinois, for many years. It was well maintained and had a full instrument panel, although I never flew on instruments. I flew it with my wife and 2 kids several times to Indianapolis (where my sister lived) and on one occasion, while flying along the Chicago waterfront headed south was vetted by a SNB - found out later JFK was landing at O'Hare and they just wanted to know who was around. | |
