| A partner and I bought this plane as a basket case in the early 1970's. We spent a year and a half restoring it. We recovered it using Stitz Dacron. We painted it ourselves, the color scheme was one my partner came up with. I got transferred to San Jose shortly after we completed the restoration and only got to fly it a couple of times. A nice flying airplane. My partner brought it up to the 1977 Watsonville Airshow. By the next year airshow, he had sold it. | |
