My father, Paul T. Hill, was the first owner of this aircraft. Bought in Columbus Ohio in 1966 or 67. We kept it at Don Scott Field (Ohio State University) Airport until it was moved to Chagrin Valley Airport (now houses) near Cleveland, Ohio in 1968. I got my Private ticket in 1970 and took 77 Fox with me when I went to college at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio until 1975. Parents had moved to NY during that time so the aircraft went back to Ramapo Valley Airport, NY in 1975 where it was sold. Noticed she's been out west for some time now. Hope she's done well. I'm now a retired Air Force fighter pilot and she did me well during Air Force ROTC and my experience flying her got me into Air Force Pilot Training. Colonel Michael S. Hill, USAF (ret) |
