| Bought this Reliant in 1955 and flew for a few years out of Marshall, MI. This plane cost $7800 in 1934. It was valued around $1200 when I had it. Probably worth a lot now, if it is still flyable. It cruised at 118mph. Had open rocker boxes on the engine, you had to grease the rocker arms about every 10 hrs or whenever it stopped throwing grease on the windshield. It was fun, though! | |
