| This is the Jetranger in which Stevie Ray Vaughan (SRV) died in the early morning hours of the 27th of August 1990, along with three other passengers and the pilot. The aircraft collided with a hill (skislope) just after take-off in marginal weather conditions (fog/low visibility) after SRV and others performed at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin. They were on their way to Chicago's Midway Airport. | |
