| I soloed in 07D, obtained my private pilot in 07D and flew this aircraft for 10 years/700 hours. Then it was a brown base with white/gold highlights, no spinner, wheel pants and a Genave nav/com. It was owned by Earl Bolten who sold it to my brother in-law Charles Eckenrode in Boulder, Co around 1973 I believe. I have only one picture of this 170 in my collection. Wish I had more. | |
