This is/was one sweet flying little 150. I owned this a/c for a period in the mid 1980's, had it painted, and really hated to see her go. But with a wife and 3 kids we really needed something a lot bigger. Painting was done in San Saba Texas in 1986. stripping of old paint was done by dry media blasting. Spent months afterwards finding little piles of media in crooks and crannies all over the plane. The original logs were "lost" in 1986. The Annual inspection was done and the IA took the log book home and says he left it on the kitchen table and it "disappeared". |
