| N2223R began its life as N2223P, a 1958 Piper Apache. I know this because my dad bought 2223R in May 1964. By now 23Papa was 23Romeo. This is the aircraft I trained in and flew for my multi engine rating. At the time (1964 to 1972) Apache 2223R was based at Lambert Field in St. Louis, MO. I hope an owner requested an N number change and our Apache is still flying. God how I loved that ugly red, black and white Apache. | |
