This airplane was mine when it was a Tri-Pacer. Underneath the cloth and metal is an airframe primed and painted with Imron paint before covering. At the time, my mechanic told me he had never seen wings in such good shape after being covered so long. This airplane has the AUX fuel tank where you see the filler in this photo. It extends the range to a point where you'll have to land for a bathroom stop before the gas runs out. I'll find a good shot of it and post it sometime soon. |
