This plane was built starting in the late 1960's thru early 1970's by my father, Charles Ritter, Sam Rice, and later much detail work, paint and overall upgrades was done by Steve Ward. I recently ran across some photos during construction, but at this time, I don't have them scanned on computer. I was a teenager during this time and more interested in motorcycles, cars, and girls. The "Woody's Pusher" was just an object in my dad's shop that took up too much room and was always in the way of my projects. My dad passed away in April of 2006 at the age of 83, but the Woody's Pusher was always on his mind. He spoke of it often. I have the plans and hope to build a radio controlled version of this plane in the future. |
