Boise TV channel 7 showed footage this evening where this plane/tail number 'crashed' at the Caldwell (Id) airport. Reported the pilot was 'injured' but the passengers were all ok. Reported as being on a skydiving outing . . . Admin. From Aviation Safety Network 20 June 2011. An Idaho pilot suffered minor injuries when a Cessna 402 carrying seven people on a skydiving trip crashed during takeoff at Caldwell Industrial Airport (KEUL), ID. Police in Caldwell say the accident was reported at about 12:40 p.m. on Monday. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Mike Fergus says the plane crashed on takeoff with its gear up, damaging the underside of the Cessna 402. Its propeller was destroyed during the crash. |
