 This is a very significant Lodestar. Purchased by TWA, to be used as President and founder, Jack Frye's personal corporate plane, it was also classified as a TWA "Flight Research Laboratory." This plane replaced Jack's previous corporate plane-TWA NC-18137. I have done extensive research on this famous Lodestar. Unfortunately, it is presumed scrapped at this time, and currently being removed from FAA National Registry.
