| In 1958 my dad Robert L. Tuttle bought this aircraft. It was in very bad condition. Dad striped the cover off, repaired all structure damage and re-covered with canvas. Streching taught. Then coated the covering with multy coats of fiberglass paint. He did this in a two car garage in the Skelly Oil Camp in Penwell, TX. He stored the aircraft at the Monahans air port for several years. | |
