| I grew up in this airplane when it belonged to my father, Charles Ellis Shoemaker, it was previously owned by his father Charles Hilton Shoemaker and Ruth Osgood Shoemaker. I just returned today 1/16/2013 from My grandmother Ruth's funeral. I have several more pics of this plane from the 1950's to the late 1980's. I am a pilot and own N66626, a Cessna 150. If the current owner develops any interest in selling I would love the opportunity to buy it and bring it back for a 4th generation to fly in. My email is my name at hotmail, I am sure you can figure out how to contact me if desired. I still remember watching it fly away North from Dallas that day when I was 15 years old. | |
