| I purchased this aircraft in the fall of 1987 in Compton, Calif. for $27,500. Was suppose to have is sold in Oregon but the buyer got delayed on his money. So my wife and I flew it back to our home base in Texas. Somewhere on the way home, we fell in love with the plane and decided to keep it. I had the Ray-Jays removed. New interior and paint. Changed the N number to 39BS and flew it for several years. I then had the engine rebuilt and sold the plane for $67,500. Was a wonderful plane. Have many fond memories. | |
