| My father was the original owner of this aircraft. He purchased it new in 1967 and had it based at Great Barrington airport in Great Barrington, MA. I have many fime memories of this plane including a trip throughout the western U.S. in 1968. During his ownership, he added wing tip de-icers and the Robertson/STOL conversion. The original color was red, unlike the current color scheme in the photographs. I still have one of the original suitcases that came with the aircraft, fitting into the forward luggage compartment. I thought the current owner would be interested in a little history. | |
