I learned to fly in this aircraft back in 1964 when it was new. It was based at San Fernando Airport in the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles. It was owned by Ryan Air Service (owned by Thomas Ryan whose brother-in-law was Richard M. Nixon.) The original color scheme was green and white. |
