| As a young pilot on May 19, 1971 I took my ATPR/type rating check ride at Denver Stapleton Airport. I was a pilot with Aspen Airways and was on the verge of upgrading to Convair Captain. As it turned out, the Chief Pilot told me that I didn't have the required number of flight hours. N4813C was one of 4 almost identical Convairs that Aspen operated. I loved the Convair. I would love to have a picture of N4813C or N4812C, N4815C or N4816C. | |
