| Lawrence K. Rice bought this airplace new during 1965. I was a young boy who lived down the street from Mr Rice, aka: Buck. We lived on "C" Street in Vallejo, California. I flew in this airplace many times and once to Richland, Washington, all VOR, no GPS in those days. I earned the aviation Boy Scout merit badge based on my time flying with Buck Rice. I'm not sure what happened to Buck and I would imagine he is deceased, I'm now 56. Buck kept this plane in a hanger at the Napa Valley Airport. I'm lucky to have known Buck Rice. I believe the new owner lives in Carson City, Nevada. | |
