My Dad built a Thorp T-18 and flew it to Alaska. It was white and had blue nose and blue stripe to the tail, along with a thin gold stripe. The number on his plane was N45RR. Don't know if this is the same plane painted. Dad sold it to a man from Florida I believe. I am commenting because my Dad was Russell Charles Ross. I have some physical pics of the plane, also Dad flew it to EEA, don't remember what year. He built this plane at his acreage in the 80's I think. He flew a lot of planes in his lifetime, but the thorp was the only plane he built. He sure loved flying! Please email me if you would like a copy of the plane that Dad had, I would be happy to send.
