Hello to the lucky owner of this fine aircraft. I owned this plane during the years of 1970 to 1971. My first flight to check me out with me on the right side front and two CFIs on board. The pilot in command lost control and we fishtailed into the near by fence bending the right wing and I went through the right window. (I have pictures) After finding a wing in ILL. I had it shipped down to Mississippi where I removed the damaged wing and installed the newly purchased right wing, flew it to Mobile Alabama for inspection and re-certifcation. NO PROBLEM. This airplane breaks to the left when you preform a full power on stall. And, it is so much fun to land it on the right or left wheels before the tail touches down. If I remember correctly that Clipper weighs in at 919 pounds and is fully cloth covered. I love that airplane!!! Have any questions or want to here some amazing stories you can call me at: 801-259-0229 goldengypsy1945@yahoo.com Have a ball, geo

Hello there owner of the PA-16 (N5770H). I owned this cloth covered gem when working for Litton Industries at the Ingles shipyard, Pascagoula Mississippi. Brownie Seals was working as an engineer and he alone checked me out in that rare jewel. I have a picture of this plane when it ran off the runway and through a fence. I have a picture of the same plane just after I personally replaced the broken wing. Buy the way, that wing came from Illinois. Have any questions, don't hesitate to email me. I put aprox. 400 hours on this two door wonder. Total power on stall and it brakes to the left. Have a great time, geo
