| This aircraft can't be the same one that appeared on the Andy Griffith show. That episode appeared in 1967 and this particular aircraft (N59588) wasn't manufactured until 1974. |

| I was watching AG and was curious about Aunt Bee's a/c. Slight error in previous posts - N59558 is a Bell 206 Helicopter. Tail number is incorrect. Aunt Bee's a/c is actually a Cessna 182 tail N5955B. This link shows current status.
