Glad to see it is still flying, I soloed in it at Santa Ana, Calif. 1965. Great little plane especially at $12.00/hr wet. | |

Just came across this while trying to redetermine the year of manufacture of this 150. I bought the plane in Santa Ana in late 1966 or early 1967. I was taking lessons from Joe McCarthy at Torbet Aircraft, the Cessna dealer and I believe they sold it to me.. As I recall, it cost 6K or so. My wife and I had 4 hours of training between us and it made sense to me to buy it. Sold it after she was licensed and moved on to a Cherokee 180 and eventually all the way up to a C-402. |
