| My uncle, Charles Henley III, Bought this airplane brand new from AIR AMERICAN at the Shreveport Downtown Airport in Shreveport, LA. He and my father, Jerry Henley, had many hours in 44L. I remember it being white and green and an American flag in the tail. I have an old photo of my father flying this airplane with the canopy open. I never got a chance to fly it but that will probably never happen. | |
