My father, Lloyd Brownell and 3 other men owned this aircraft from about 1965 until about 1970 out of Joliet and then Lewis/Lockport IL. I learned to fly on this plane and got both my ASEL and commercial tickets on it. | |

I am glad to hear the previous posting party learned to fly in our '48 Stinson Station Wagon. I am the current owner for the last 18 years. It is now located in Santa Rosa, CA in the Wine Country of Sonoma County. This photo was actually taken at Eagle Lake in the Sierras about 10 years ago, not at Frazier Lake.
