| Those certainly are not still Fairchild Ranger 6-440C-5 inline engines (200 hp) on the aircraft shown in the photo above. I read somewhere else that the owner took the 270 hp Lycoming GO-480-B1D engines that were installed on N86648 per STC SA380WE off of it and transplanted them on his own Widgeon, N645DH. I hope that he got written permission from the owner of that STC at the time as required by FAR 91.403(d) because otherwise it was not legal to do so.... | |
