| My father has owned this plane since before I could reach the rudder pedals. I was probably 5 or 6 (I'm 33 now). I remember I was so proud the day I could finally able to reach the pedals. I jumped out (tied down on the ramp), yelled and screamed "DAD, LET'S GO UP, I CAN REACH THE RUDDER PEDALS". This plane is as big a part of my life as most kids first bicycle or first christmas. "Champ 79 Charlie" is the only call for me. | |
