| I purchased this plane on my 55th birthday September 23, 2009 from Brian Bowles in Athens, GA. We flew it about twenty hours the last 3 months of '09. It has to be hand propped to start it. It flies 90 mph at 2000 rpm's and burns only 4 gallons per hour. We installed headsets and a intercom system along with a Garmin 296 GPS. The plane is nicknamed " Sweet Tater". Currently she has 2345 hours on the airframe and about 700 hours on the engine since major overhaul. We are the 19th owners and the plane is a joy to fly :) | |
