My Father, Chauncey Schweigert owned this aircraft and I got as far as my second cross-country solo. I don't remember the year he sold it, I am guessing 1977 and it was tied down at Larson Airfield. Our 2250' grass landing strip was located about 1/2 mile North and about a mile East, and ran East and West and was on the charts in the 60's and 70's. Makes me smile to see she is still air worthy. Happy flying to who ever owns her now! |
