My late ferry-pilot buddy Fritz S (see www.ferryflights.org... on the "wayback engine" as eventually necessary) & I flew N810PK down from KTEB to KLNA on/abouts Christmas Eve, 2006. For a normally aspirated bird, it's performance wasn't less than 100%. Wx was good for the trip (we waited a day though for this at KTEB). Cruise at 150FL w/o air was a bit tiring for me, but FS was happy (particularly dragging a fag!). This girl is an absolute BABE... and if it weren't for my own (hopefully temporary) period of want... I swear that she'd be MINE! The worse we faced this trip as 40kts headwinds... where we pulled 145kts @ 66% power. At some point where the winds were still (or slightly behind us), we pulled 170kts @66% power (ground speed according to the panel mount Garmin). She's a true honey that any fellow would be proud to own! (I'm glad that she's back in The States from her brief EU sojourn). I invite your chat about N810PK at any time!!! Thank you!
