I was ships company USS Forrestal CVA59 from 03/1965 to 12/1967 First with V6 Division and then AIMD. While on board Forrestal it was my honor to be on the COD crew. I made countless launches and arrested landings in this fine old bird. I remember in January of 1967 (I think) going from Gitmo to Jacksonville to change an engine in this plane. I would love to see it again. |
