| I flew her solo as a student at Herron Airport Hancock Co.,West Virginia June 1968. At that time N8237L had a 150 HP 4 cylinder Lycoming engine. She was brown and white. Mr. Earl Herron was my instructor. I was 18 Years old. She replaced N8350U after 50U was in a mishap. I soloed 8350U Aug.25,1967. She is still flying. I actually saw 8350U flying recently on the computer. Iv'e flown 150s too. Good to see 8347L is alive and well. Email me if you get chance. Entering down-wind-Richard | |
