| This airplane was a rental in Cadiz Ohio. It let me down once and the engine quit. We landed in a field in Bloomingdale Ohio. We got a lot of attention that day in 1984 (I think!) by the Ohio State Patrol, a good samaritan in a helicopter and another Cessna by all checking that we were all OK. A little frazzled nerves was all that happened! A flight instructor flew it out about 2 hours later after a mechanic did his magic on it. | |
