I was a prior owner of this plane. I bought it with my friend Charles Stewart as a project. and assembled the aircraft at Gelispi field in El Cajon CA and later moved the plane to Brawley CA where it stayed until I sold it to a crop dusting firm in Ariz. My friend found the project plane at a location near the Thermal CA airport. An interesting historical point about N85034, James Dean was the original owner. I am assuming that this was the deceased Actor James Dean because the address was in Hollywood CA. |
