| This a/c was bought new by the Stick and Rudder Club based at Waukegan Airport, Illinois, USA, early in 1959. The club charged $3 a month dues and the cost of flying was $7/ hr wet. Our club treasurer (Leo Koski) and I flew it on a trip from Waukegan to Texas to Florida and back to Waukegan in April 1959 - no problems. We each flew alternate legs | |
