| This bird was an U.S. Air Force C-131 Aeromedical plane at one time- that I think then was turned into a gate guarian or in storage. I remember when my boss at N.Y. based Condor Aviation acquired her for freight operations- I can still hear those R-2800's on startup, then settling into a smooth rumble once they warmed.... except for some minor corrosion in a couple areas, she was in great shape... | |
