I bought N9138v in 1978 for $20k and based it at Camarillo, Ca airport. I had zero hours of flying at that time. My company transferred me from Westlake Village, Ca to San Diego, Ca. I wanted to learn to fly to commute to work. I trained in the plane earning an instrument endorsement. I used the plane mostly for business for several years. Sold the plane in late 80's for $8+k. Plane was ready for a major and panel upgrade. Burned 7.5GPH ave. Great plane and good memories. I have a picture of N9138v in white/gold paint scheme.
