I'm the owner of this airplane. I'll post some pictures at a later date. I learned to fly in this airplane in 1975. It belonged to my father, Dick Rice at the time. I received it as a gift from my mother following my father's death in 2001. My dad taught me to fly in it and I had the privilege of teaching my son to fly in it in 2005. It's covered with Razorback fiberglass fabric that was applied in 1969. It's on its second engine, a C-85-12 that was installed to improve the climb performance. It's scheduled for an engine replacement again in the summer of 2006, at which time an O-200 Continental will be installed. The aircraft is hangared at 54M airport near Rossville, TN and flies on a very frequent basis. |
