| I flew this plane when it was new in the summer of 1958. In fact, I did my part of my solo cross country work as a student pilot. She was first based at McComb Mississippi and the local airport bought her and N9884B at the same time. I saw a picture of one of these planes somewhere, and they had made a taildragger out of her. Both were originally tricycle landing equipped originally. I will always remember the joy of flying these two birds. Walter Hopper | |
