| For a long time, there were high hopes this bird would be saved for restoration, and she remained stored at BEY until around 2006. I was very excited, until I saw this picture: http://www.planespotters.net/Aviation_Photos/photo.show?id=077461 showing only the nose section preserved. I will double-check in the Airliners.net forum, in the hope that this is a case of mistaken identity. | |
