| This aircraft was built for Hans Werner-Grosse for long distance record attempts in Australia. It was built with 2 sets of wing tips, one set at 19M span and one set at 21M span. It was the first sailplane in the world to fly a 1,000km FAI triangle and did so from Waikerie in South Australia. The 21M tips were subsequently cut back to 20M span to meet Australian approvals. It is still flying from a base in Western Australia. | |
