| This aircraft was one of 3 ASW-15B's imported into Australia to compete in the 1974 World Gliding Championships which were held at the Waikerie Gliding Club,Waikerie, South Australia. The aircraft was first registered in Australia as VH-GER. Many years later, the aircraft was written off in a landing accident at Camden (New South Wales). The wreck was sold in 1998 and during the period 1998/9, it was repaired by it's present owner and re-registared as VH-MWS. (Information current as of July 2007) | |
